FAQ

1. Do they only work with topwaters?

Nope! They work with any bait that has a fully enclosed line tie. We use them with jerk baits, crank baits, chatterbaits, swimbaits, jigs, plastics, and more...

2. Why does it cost over $4 to ship something that could go in an envelope?

We tried the cheap $2 shipping option in the early days and we found that our customers would much rather pay the extra money to receive a tracking number for their order!

3. Should I remove the split ring on my baits?

They will work with a split ring, but we do recommend removing it on most baits. The stainless steel clips will act just like the split ring and give your lure the same, if not better action.

4. If the baits are so easy to put on, why wouldn't a fish be able to unclip them in the fight?

Once your bait is clipped on, it takes a specific technique to position the bait in the perfect spot with the right amount of pressure to be removed. If fish had fingers, they might be able to try... but our customers have successfully caught thousands of fish on them!

5. Does the bait go on a specific end of the clip?

YESSSSS! Please look at the back of the packaging to see which end to tie your knot to and which end your bait should be on. This DOES make a difference!

6. What size should I use? 

Check out the chart below to see recommended sizes for each species. If you are still not sure, grab a sample pack to try all 4 sizes and figure out the best option for you.

7. When will my order ship?

We do our best to ship orders Monday-Friday the same day they were placed. The "Super Fast" USPS can cause a few delays, but we promise to make it right if any unreasonable wait times are experienced.

These things are so much better than standard swivels

These things are so much better than standard swivels. The baits stay straight when reeling, and actually swim like they should.
