Very effective. I waited for a while before finally ordering speed clips.
After using them a few times now, I don't know how I got by without them.
Just buy some and you will be amazed how great they work.
Highly recommend this size for panfish setups. even caught a couple largemouth bass and northern pike and the held up great.
I just used these for open water use, and they are very easy to use and they are very effective.
I even mistakenly put one on my ultralight rod for panfish and before I changed it out for the small size I gave it a try. I actually out fished the other two guys in the boat. I was worried about the size possibly spooking fish, but they worked great.

Absolutely perfect -- it's not everyday that you find a truly better mousetrap, but this is it. Easy to use with any lure, quick on and off...in a few years these speed clips will be all that anyone has on their tackle.
