We love these clips I see other ones but these were the first ones and they are great and we make sure we keep plenty around we use the medium and large when we fish the gulf mini and small here in Tennessee. Great customer service
I heard of all the hype about “ Speed Clips” but I had thought that I found a deal on similar style of clips on a popular online shopping site for much cheaper. But after loosing a few nice sized bass because a clip bent , I had decided to give Speed Clips a chance. To be honest, I only on occasion have tied a clip on … usually when casting hard baits for different presentations of topwater fishing. Makes changing out lures a breeze. I do appreciate that each clip is weight tested which gives me the confidence that they can handle the retrieval of a 5 pound bass on the regular. Yeah, I’d love to land a 10 pound monster, and I am sure these clips could handle that.. but I don’t think there are monster bass like that in the pond that I regularly visit… but I can always hope.
I have every size they make. I mainly use the middle sizes in freshwater and have never had one fail fishing for bass, bowfin, gar, etc.
I use them with swivels a lot. When shifting to Carolina, Texas, or drop shot I use a split ring with the rig attached to that. I have use a second speed clip too. I can move from a lure, to a jig, to a dropshot in seconds. I use a small binder with the rigs in different pouches wrap around old gift cards to keep them from tangling.
These things as so much better than old style swivels and clips.
Just buy them already.
These pliers are so nice and very high quality. Love the carry case and cord they come with
they work great and are easy to use, they're small enough for the small jigheads and hooks.
