Highly recommend this size for panfish setups. even caught a couple largemouth bass and northern pike and the held up great.
I just used these for open water use, and they are very easy to use and they are very effective.
I even mistakenly put one on my ultralight rod for panfish and before I changed it out for the small size I gave it a try. I actually out fished the other two guys in the boat. I was worried about the size possibly spooking fish, but they worked great.
